Discipleship In Action

Lord, You started something when a few people got together to follow you in ways we weren't even sure would work out. 

Everyone was eager to see more of what The Holy Spirit would do through a few surrendered Disciples. 

You provided the place, the funds, and the hope and vision in each of our hearts. 

We had some hindrances and started going in a direction we thought you were leading us to. 

Along the way of our own misguided direction, we still saw lots of fruit, lives transformed and people set free. 

Holy Spirit was ever present with us even though we went in a few different directions, but held onto our vision to allow Holy Spirit to lead, guide and direct us. 

We preached deliverance and saw the captives set free. 

It was a birthing we couldn't see yet. 

A movement we didn't even fathom yet. 

We didn't realize how it would impact areas outside our own community. 

We counseled, discipled, taught, and preached The Word.  

A lot of prayers were prayed, hands laid and people were healed and saw hope from their brokenness and unworthiness. 

The Word was all we had to give them and that was all we needed, being led by Holy Spirit. 

We stood on the Word in faith, hope and poured out love so that others would want to know You too Lord.

Through our discipleship lessons, people found out about their authority through Christ Jesus and how they could resist the enemy and command him to leave in Jesus’ name. 

They started realizing how powerful the name of Jesus is. 

They began a journey to let go of religion and walk into relationship with their Lord. 

They found out that God was not mad at them and what the love of God is really all about. 

They started to see themselves as sons and daughters of a loving Father. 

Their boldness grew and they wanted to witness to others. 

Their families could see the changes happening on the inside as they walked in faith and love for the 1st time. 

Lord, You used us in ways we only imagined but never saw manifest until we stepped out in faith.

Some of these surrendered Disciples followed the Holy Spirit’s leading and went down a new path after being discipled. 

Thank You Jesus for setting the example. 

We, as sons and daughters of God, are now destined to reveal our Father to the world by becoming like Him.

We do this as Christ did, by communing with out Father, walking in the anointing of the Holy Spirit, and bringing the Kingdom of Heaven to earth through manifestations of power and authority, and everything with a basis of showing the love of God. 

We will continue in learning our inheritance by walking in the great promises of God for the benefit of the people around us and the ones You send to us and who need to know You in spirit and in truth. 

James 1:22 Be ye doers of the Word, not hearers only
